Hotel New York
Hotel New York. This hotel is located in the old central office of the marine line Holland-America. It was constructed in 1901, and designed by architects Muller and Drooglever Fortuyn. The building has been decorated with Jugendstil elements with its characteristic towers covered with copper. The facade has four plates, each one with masculine figures representing the different continents and scenes from the life of sailors. The hotel was opened in 1993.

Noors Kerkje
Noors Kerkje. The Norwegian Chapel is located in one of the corners of Het Park. Winner of a design competition, it was brought to Holland in pieces. The architect, the workers and the wood came from Norway. The Norks Sjomannskirke was constructed in 1914 by Norwegian sailors and it was placed in its present location before the war. The greatest wood building of Holland was constructed in National Romanesque style. Its colorful paintings and carvings with figures of the four evangelists are impressive.

Watertoren
Watertoren. The Watertoren (tower of the water) and the adjacent complex was designed by C.B. van der Tak and built in 1871. The tower is constructed with a mixture of neo-Roman and neo-Renaissance styles. It is 48 meters high and it has a dam with a capacity for a million liters of water. The complex was used to purify the water of the Maas River and to make it drinkable. In the surrounding area there was ample space for accommodation for machinists and engineers who worked there.

Post Office
Post Office. This building was designed by architect G.C.Bremer and constructed between 1915 and 1923. It was constructed deliberately about 10 meters out of line with the adjacent building, Stadhuis, to make this last building stand out from it. But the entrance patio produces an opposite effect to that intended originally. After its neoclassic appearance, there is an ample interior with a lobby which is 23 meters high with the ceiling vaulted and illuminated. In the interior is the main office of Post office.
