Rotterdam Bycycle. This company organizes guided bicycle tours around Rotterdam. On route the guide shows the points of interest of the past and the present of the city. There are four stops on the route, Delfshaven, Erasmus Bridge and the Museum Park among others and of course a stop in a typical Dutch pub. The bicycles for rent are of the Kronan mark. Apart from this route they also make other routes. The departure point is at ByCycle, located in the adjacent street to the main Post office.

Tropicana. This subtropical aquatic complex is located in the shore of the Maas River, near the centre of the city. In its interior there is a constant temperature of 30 Celsius degrees. Aside from swimming pools, the complex has saunas, water slides, Jacuzzi’s, and it is even possible to swim outdoors. During the weekends special events take place in the disco inside the place. Tropicana is open from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 23.00 and weekends from 10.00 to 18.00.

Spido. Spido offers a cruise trip on board of one of its modern boats along the Maas River lasting 75 minutes, from where Rotterdam can be seen from a different perspective. The Spido also makes cruises of a whole day through the river and to the new extensions of the port. During the months of summer, cruises can be done until Botlek, the barrier against the floods and the Delta works. The departure is from the base of the Erasmus Bridge. The cheapest price depending on the route is 14 euros.

De Kuip. De Kuip is the name of the stadium of the Feyenoord football team. It was build during the depression of the 1930’s to a design from J.A. Brinkman and L.C. van der Vlugt, with the money contributed by well-off citizens. The stage has a capacity of 55000 spectators. There are also organized tours where it is possible to visit the changing rooms, the benches and the Home of History, museum where all the trophies won by the team are exposed. This tour must be booked in advance. The price is 10 euros by person. Tours are on weekdays at 10.30 and another one only on Mondays and Saturdays at 14.30.
